From time to time updated versions of Nureva Console are made available. Updating the desktop client to the latest version helps to ensure the latest functionality and features are available to your Nureva devices. The information and instructions below apply equally to Windows 10 and macOS versions of Nureva Console client.
If an update is available, Nureva Console client will prompt to update when the application launches. This prompt is displayed whether or not a Nureva device is connected to the computer.
Updating at initial start-up
- Launch Nureva Console desktop client
- Click on the Update button in the banner
- Application updating will begin
- After the update is complete, the application will restart

Updating from the main dashboard
If a user advances past the initial start-up window, update prompts are also shown on the main dashboard. The prompts on the main dashboard are displayed as a banner at the bottom, as well as a yellow dot in the top right-hand corner.
Updating from the banner
- Click on the Update button in the banner
- Application updating will begin
- After the update is complete, the application will restart

- Click on the gear icon at the top right-hand corner of the main dashboard
- The Application settings dashboard will open
- Choose Update application in the blue box or Update in the yellow banner
- Application updating will begin
- After the update is complete, the application will restart

How to check if Nureva Console client is up to date?
To confirm that Nureva Console client is up to date:
- Click on the gear icon at the top right-hand corner of the main dashboard
- The Application settings dashboard will open
- In the center of the dashboard, the current version is provided
- Clicking on Check for application updates will confirm if an update is available
- If an update is available, a prompt will be provided to update the application
