Integrating AVer cameras with camera tracking

HDL300, Dual HDL300, HDL310 and HDL410
Last Updated: December 13th, 2023

Camera tracking integration shares sound location data from Nureva audio conferencing systems with supported AVer cameras. This integration allows the AVer camera to steer its view based on the microphone pickup in the room.

When HDL300, Dual HDL300 and HDL310 systems are integrated with supported AVer products, directional (azimuth) data is used for camera tracking. Coordinate data is used when HDL410 systems and supported AVer products are integrated for camera tracking.

AVer applications

AVer cameras use two software applications to set up and manage camera tracking. The first application is PTZ Link and the second is PTZApp 2.

PTZ Link

Use AVer PTZ Link software with an AVer camera that accepts sound location data from Nureva HDL300, Dual HDL300, HDL310 and HDL410 audio conferencing systems.

PTZApp 2

AVer PTZApp 2 uses sound location data from Nureva HDL300 and Dual HDL300 audio conferencing systems to steer supported AVer cameras to appropriate preset positions. PTZApp2 does not support the HDL310 or HDL410 systems.

NOTE: Third-party camera manufacturers may have multiple versions of their camera management software. Sometimes features may only be available with specific versions of their software. Please find out from the camera manufacturer which version of the software you will need and if there is an additional cost to use the software or features.

AVer MT300N matrix tracking box

The AVer MT300N is a matrix tracking box that integrates camera tracking with AVer Pro AV cameras. This small form factor device has PTZ Link Premium built-in so it eliminates the need for an in-room PC. The HDL300, Dual HDL300, HDL310 and HDL410 systems are compatible with the MT300N matrix tracking box.
