HDL200 - avoiding overheating

Recommendations and considerations
Last Updated: August 6th, 2021

To avoid overheating an HDL200 system, please follow the steps below:

  • Do not install on tables, credenzas, countertops, or other surfaces without using Nureva® approved accessories
  • Blocking of the vents on the HDL200 system will impede airflow and will lead to overheating
  • Ensure adequate space between all vents and other objects to promote airflow and cooling
  • Do not operate the HDL200 system while laying on the back surface (with speakers directed upwards) as this impedes airflow

IMPORTANT: Do not block the vents on the top, bottom, or back surface of the unit. These vents are required to keep the circuits from overheating. Do not install on tables, credenzas, countertops, or other similar surfaces without using Nureva approved accessories. Failure to follow these recommendations may cause the unit to fail or malfunction.
