There is no sound from the HDL300 speaker

Steps to help return sound to the system

Follow the steps below if your system does not have audio output:

  1. Use the remote control to confirm that the volume output on your operating system is set to an audible level (see What the LED lights on the integrated microphone and speaker bar mean to learn the LED volume indicators)
  2. Open your systemʼs list of devices to make sure that itʼs detecting the speaker as the default audio output device
  3. Check that the volume output on your conferencing software is set to an audible level
  4. Verify that the USB cable is connected from the connect module USB to a computer USB 2.0 port
  5. Make sure the computer is on and not on standby mode
  6. Verify that the System Status light on the connect module is green
  7. Confirm that Echo Cancelling Speakerphone (HDL300) is set as the default audio device for your operating system
