The following considerations will help ensure an efficient installation with minimal roadblocks:

• Where will the microphone and speaker bar(s) be installed – it needs to be installed on a flat surface about 85" (216cm) from the floor. The unit should have adequate clearance from displays and other surfaces that may interfere with optimal performance (see our installation requirements document).
• Where will the computer be located – the HDL300 system connects to a computer by a USB cable. USB extenders will impact the performance of the system and should not be used. The computer should be within range of a standard USB cable.
